Team JDRF Looking for Western Wisconsin Runners

Team JDRF is a new way for anyone and everyone to make a difference in the fight against type 1 diabetes.

Jeanne Grist, Western Wisconsin volunteer, is looking to form a Team JDRF group to train and fundraise for a local running event this Fall.

Congratulations La Crosse Ride to Cure Diabetes Participants!

Team Western Wisconsin put on a fabulous show in La Crosse this past weekend at the Ride to Cure Diabetes! Our 36 riders met or exceeded their goals on a positively FANTASTIC Mighty Mississippi 100-mile course in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Coaches Joe Brady and Jeanne Grist ensured that all participants finished the ride safe and sound.

Special thanks to the Western Wisconsin volunteers who manned rest stop #2 with great Midwest flare and fun!

JDRF Western Wisconsin at the Crazy Legs Classic

29^th Annual Crazy Legs Classic, Madison

All runners and walkers are invited to join the Western Wisconsin Chapter and be part of the Crazy Legs Classic. Starting at Capitol Square and finishing at Camp Randall Stadium, you can participate in either the five mile run or two mile walk. Team participant registration is $30 and you will receive a team photo, t-shirt, hat and post-race party at Camp Randall. Have fun with friends from the Western Wisconsin Chapter and then let’s celebrate at the JDRF Spring Gala that night!
