Diamonds in the Rough: Friends of JDRFOn Monday, June 29th, 2009, the Friends of JDRF, Inc. will host its 6th annual–JDRF Diamonds in the Rough Golf Classic at the Bishop’s Bay Golf Course in Madison, WI.  (map) The event is planned and executed by dedicated volunteers who recognize the dollars raised at this event will help JDRF provide more money to diabetes research than any other non-profit, non-governmental health agency in the world.

The goal for the 2009 JDRF Golf Classic is to raise significant dollars to fund research while providing an informative and entertaining event. In an effort to realize this goal, the JDRF Golf Classic will feature:

  • Eighteen holes of golf at one of the best rated courses in the state, according to “Golf Digest”
  • Fabulous Prizes, Hole-In-One Contests and Exciting Gaming Holes
  • Post-Golf Reception/Dinner Buffet

The JDRF 2009 Corporate Committee is pleased to invite you to become a Corporate Sponsor for this very exciting event. Your sponsorship will promote your organization as one who puts its dollars to work for improving the health and welfare of children and families in our community.   • 1:30 pm: Shotgun Start, Scramble Format
  • 6:30 pm: Dinner Reception and Entertainment
  • 7:00 pm: Diamond Drawing
