Parent Networking & Support Groups
The purpose of this meeting is to give all people affected by Type 1 diabetes a chance to meet one another, share their wisdom with the newly diagnosed families, make new friends, and learn from one another.
Madison Area
Meetings will be held the fourth Tuesday of every month, JDRF Office Building (across from Point Cinemas) the second floor conference room, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
We will always try to have teens there to help keep an eye on kids should the parent not feel comfortable leaving their child with a babysitter yet. Middleton Area ~ Diabetes Family-to-school Support Group
Middleton, Greater Madison area welcome!
Meetings quarterly ~ end of year picnic for all families & kids. Upcoming meetings: February 24th 7-8pm, and May 26, 2010.

Baraboo Area
Meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month, at Walnut Hill Bible Church, 1900 East Street Baraboo, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
We also have a high school volunteer who oversees and plays with the kids during the meeting so the parents can meet without worrying about their loved one.

Regular Meeting Times have not yet been decided. We are currently looking for a parent to organize a group. Please contact the JDRF office at 833-2873 or email: westernwi@jdrf.org if you are interested!
This group will give the opportunity for families in the Janesville area to come and meet others living with Type 1 diabetes.
La Crosse Area
