Diabetes doesn’t hold back Lodi wrestler
Posted by Western Wisconsin in Western Wisconsin JDRF on March 8, 2010
Great article this weekend in the Wisconsin State Journal!
Ryan Quick waited for three years to earn his place in the Lodi varsity wrestling starting lineup.
So when the senior heavyweight finally got his chance this season, nothing was going to keep him off the mat.
Not even a five-year battle with Type 1 diabetes could keep Quick down.

Assemble a Family Basket for the Spring Gala
Posted by Western Wisconsin in Events, Outreach, Spring Gala, Western Wisconsin JDRF on February 17, 2010
Creating a family basket is a wonderful way for everyone in the Western Wisconsin Chapter to participate in the Spring Gala. Last year, these beautiful and creative baskets raised more than $5,000 for diabetes research. Nothing is more touching than seeing what family and friends put together in honor of their loved ones living with type 1 diabetes. If you would like to donate a family basket, please contact Anne Marie Paradisin, Family Basket Chair, at aparadisin@yahoo.com or 608-846-0744 and she can provide you additional information.![img_0003[1] Family Basket](http://www.jdrfwesternwisconsin.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/img_00031.jpg)
