JDRF Western Wisconsin

It is with a great sadness that we share that Jesse Alswager passed away unexpectedly this week from complication of type 1 diabetes.  Jesse was the son of Michelle Page-Alswager and Tom Alswager.  Michelle was the former Executive Director of the JDRF Western Wisconsin Chapter.

A memorial web site for Jesse has been set-up at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jessealswager.  There you will be able to read “Jesse’s Story,” leave a guestbook message for the family, and make a memorial donation.

Visitation for the family will be held Monday, February 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (5701 Raymond Rd., Madison).  A service for Jesse will follow at 7:30 p.m. Sean Busby, professional snowboarder and person with type 1 diabetes will speak about his friendship with Jesse.
