I’m a local writer and Type 1 diabetic working on a play that will premiere at Broom Street Theater in Madison on Oct. 25.
The play is being produced with a $2,000 grant from the Diabetes Hands Foundation.The play draws on personal experience as well as interviews with doctors, researchers and other diabetics to help educate the public about issues related to diabetes.
